Waste to Wonder
Tideway Property Managers partnered with Waste to Wonder Worldwide, a UK-based social enterprise and registered charity, to deliver an ethical office clearance aligned with our values of sustainability, community impact, and responsible management.
Instead of sending surplus furniture to landfill, we ensured items were repurposed and redistributed to global charities through Waste to Wonder’s School-in-a-Box programme – supporting education, healthcare, and empowerment initiatives worldwide.
What Tideway Achieved
- Donated £20,998 worth of equipment and furniture
- Saved 17,634 kg of carbon, certified under NCZ Platinum Carbon Neutral standards
- Diverted 10,300 kg of waste from landfill
- Supported international charities including:
- HOPE Foundation (Zimbabwe) – promoting women’s empowerment and IT education
- Africa First Foundation (Senegal) – supporting orphaned children and rural healthcare
- United Action for Children (Cameroon) – providing education and vocational training
This project reflects Tideway’s belief that property management should serve communities as well as buildings—embedding environmental and social value at the heart of what we do.
